A big part of my Vision from the start of the AD project was to ensure design language, tangible or not, is consistant. This was the reasoning behind having a unified design team that contributed in all stages of the design process of both areas. The first concepts are initially my idea but i chose to bring people on board that have extraordinary skill and talent in both areas to ensure that both areas really gel and ‘sing the same song’. For me this is critical, more than often you see beautiful devices that have equally beautiful interfaces but together they are disjointed and somewhat alien collectively. It is all about the consistency of the story your product tells, a good book doesn’t start off as a murder mystery and end up a World Atlas… Consistency is key.

Whats spurred this little rant on is the recent milestones we have hit with ADAOS (AD Android Operating System) Things are looking great and the design team are extremely happy with the result of a lot of hard work!
